In a few days I'll pack up my little family, make that drive we've made twice before, lay down on the same table, look up at the same TV screen and see this new little life inside of me.

I've been waiting for the moment I'd feel kicks from this baby. I've felt infrequent feelings of the baby switching positions or stretching/small movements but no real kicks or strong movements.
Apparently this baby loves carrots, ranch dip and water because after eating my snack in bed I began feeling her (that kept slipping out when I was thinking/talking to the baby…a sign?) or him gently moving her feet and legs about.

There is real beauty in…
… bright blue bulging veins that greet my body as I grow a new creature inside my ever growing womb.
There’s no missing this vein riddled body as it pumps blood to help sustain the beautiful body, soul and spirit living because of me.
