I've been trying to think of some witty, or interesting, or poetic post to go along with these pictures of my boys. I know if I tried a little harder I could make the post match the photo. I choose not to tonight. I choose to let the photo's speak for themselves. And boy do they speak volumes to me. When childhood is done right, it sure is good and sweet and safe and loving.

I call this one 'Birds Nest'.
Isn't it soooo cool? I have no idea what type of weed it is, but it sure is lovely to look at.
You're just getting a picture today. Why? Well, because my kids won't stop fighting or ripping the house apart, so I'm on heavy duty Mommy duty today. I don't have the time or patience for a thought or emotion provoking post. Calgon, take me away!

I never do this. Okay, almost never. I'm dying really hoping for a new lens… and it won't be coming to me by way of my own dime. Hello people, have you ever seen the cost of camera lenses? Insanity! In this week's 'You Capture', Beth requested that we take photo's of ourselves. Though I'm not in most of the pictures I take, I do manage to make it in some. But I didn't want to go back through old photo's and use those. After all, the intention of Beth's challenges is to get you out and taking new pictures.

I call this one 'held'. Doesn't this pretty little weed look like it's holding itself? All safe and secure and happy. It's good to hold yourself, love yourself, be secure with who you are. This lovely lady is a great reminder of that, to me.
