I've been on a healthy eating quest for a couple of years. I've suffered with an overgrowth of Candida for what seems like a lifetime. And in all actuality, it likely has been a lifetime. In the two years that I've known my health problems were all related to the yeast syndrome, I've been reading about nutrition, a lot.

This isn’t the first time I’ve blogged about Jenny McCarthy and I highly doubt it’ll be the last. I can admit that I was never a big fan of her work or comedy. But getting to know her for her struggle with her son’s Autism, getting him healthy and now being heavily involved and outspoken about vaccines has won me over.

Until you go on a diet where you are allowed no sugar and carbs you likely don’t even notice how much of a sugar nation we really are. It’s everywhere. You can’t stop bumping into sugar laced “foods”. It’s all over the T.V. and everywhere you turn in the grocery store.

There’s yet another product we use everyday that has tested positive for high levels of lead.
According to CNN.com “61% of brand-name lipsticks tested contained detectable levels of lead, which can be toxic if ingested.”
