There's More Room In The Pool
I feel on top of the world lately. My eyes and heart are fully aware of how blessed I am to be home with my beautiful boys everyday. I don't take it for granted… not any more.
I get to play with my baby in the pool for the first time. I get to play peek-a-boo and watch his little mouth open wide, exposing those two little bottom teeth, and laugh with all his might.
My life is so full. Full of laundry, and dishes, and cleaning, and toys, and baths, and bedtimes, and lunches, and snacks, and tears, and drama, and hugs, and love, and joy, and frustration, and noise…
But, is it full enough? I don't know. I might just have room for one more smiling, happy, sweet, chubby little one running around.
I'd rather have my hands full, than to have them empty. I'd rather have deafening noise than a lifetime of peace and quiet. I'd rather have the pressure of raising children into strong adults, and the overwhelm of responsibility than to have none.
I've got a full life and I wouldn't have it any other way.

So, so true. Something to remember on those hard days!
You've put this beautifully – I envy you….
Those last few lines couldn't be more perfectly said. I'd take a whole slew of the little critters. They are just priceless.
A-freakin-men!

(BTW, they are soooooooo cute. And chubb-a-liciously edible. Just sayin')
ADORABLE picts of your sweeties…couldn't agree with you more on the words, girlfriend!!
I agree 100%.
It's so nice for life to be "full." It can be chaotic and crazy, but it's a wonderful kind of crazy.
Are you more seriously considering having (or adopting) a fourth baby? My husband and I are definitely leaning toward having another baby these days too, but we still have some time to ponder that decision…
Beautifully written. Your little ones are so sweet!
You have the most inspiring outlook Nell. Can I be you?
