i'm down here. see me? i'm little. a baby, some might say. i'm new to the world. but don't let that fool you, i'm watching everything you do. i'm listening to everything you say, and the way in which you say it. i'm going to model who i am after you.
i'll learn how to love others, and myself, from you. i'll learn how to handle conflict, and heart ache. i'll learn how to keep my faith in God even when others may tell me there is no God. i'll learn how to treat women, and my own children. i'll learn how to be quiet and just listen, and how to appreciate the beauty all around me.
see me down here, the little human being that i am right now? you say i'm your everything, but did you know you are mine, too? you're my hero, i look up to you, so remember that, because i'm watching, listening…always.

What a wonderful post! I wish I'd read this when mine were babies. I still need it today though. We always need to be reminded that we are an example for our children. Even when they're older. Especially when they're older!
