OH, you're not going! I'm a little sad, but it is starting to look like I really can't go either. My hubby's job just passed out pay cuts to everyone, so even though I have the money saved to go, it probably isn't the best idea for me to spend the money at the moment…. Maybe next year !

I really identified with your linked parenting post — it's been a few years since I've been there, but our daughter has now mild to moderate sensory processing disorder. We made the therapy rounds – oh, how we made the rounds. In our daughter's case, therapy changed EVERYTHING for us (we began at 13 months old – she's now five). During the initial months of evaluations and therapy, professionals sometimes hinted at autism, while strangers and acquaintances whispered about it behind my back. Very pleased to have found you.

I am much impressed that you have the stamina for three under five and all of the masculine persuasion. They do say that God never gives you more than you can handle, and I think that's why I have one of each! (Seriously, I prayed and prayed that I wouldn't have two daughters, it was my biggest fear. One just like me, okay. Two like me? Now that'd just be cruel.) It's astonishing how different my son is from his sister at the same age.
