The Happy Santa Bump

Steph posted this fun meme and I decided to play. I don't often play along with blog meme's but how could I resist one about pregnancy?

Preggy Facts:

1. Who did you first inform about your pregnancy and how?
With Nick I told my husband. With Zane I told my husband. With Dash I told a friend. I was nervous to tell my husband this time around since we weren't expecting it and I knew he was fine with it just being the four of us. Of course now he is excited and can see our family growing larger.

2. Maximum weight?
The babies or mine? You're quite sneaky if I'll tell you my ending weight of my last pregnancy. Aint gonna happen. I can say the most I've ever gained was 30 pounds with my first and thus far I've only gained 5-7 pounds. The babies were: Nicky 9 pounds 2 ounces - Zane 8 pounds 8 ounces (he was induced and Nicky was late) and this one yet to be known.

3. Cravings?
Nick: Fruit and salads. Zane: Vanilla Shakes. Dash: I haven't had a running theme of a craving this time around. I wanted carbs in the beginning because it seemed to help with my morning sickness - and I've craved fruit other times - junk at other times…and so on.

4. Aversions?
Nick & Zane & Dash: none so strong that it sticks out to me. Just eggs in the beginning of this pregnancy.

5. Morning Sickness?
First 12 weeks for Nick and Zane and first 9 weeks with Dash. Never too bad but all day long and just enough to make life interesting. I do have to say this time around it was worse than the last two but since it ended quickly I can't complain.

D Day Facts:

1. Number of Kids/Deliveries?
Two boys and another one on the way.

2. NSD or CS?
Vaginal deliveries - with epidural and being induced. This time around the (hopeful) plan is going into labor on my own and managing pain without epidural. We shall see, eh?

3. Girl or Boy?

All boys and I couldn't be happier. I'd love to have one more boy and call it done!

4. AOG (age of gestation) on Birth?
Nick: 41 weeks. Zane: Almost 40 weeks (he was born a few days before his due date). Dash: not known at this time.

5. How long in labor?
Nick: 21 hours of labor - 2 hours of pushing. Long, painful, horrible experience. Zane: 9 hours of labor and only 3 pushes. Quicker, easier and less painful. Much better experience. Dash: I'm hoping quicker and easier and even better than with the last.

The Story Behind The Title

My husband took a couple belly shots of me today & caught me in a candid moment of laughter. After we viewed all the photos he exclaimed "you look like Santa Clause there!" I could have been offended but I knew what he meant. Big belly - big laughter…it made me smile.
