This is the man I love
Even on his worst day when he is beat down and exhausted from a long day of work he comes home and cooks dinner. (He actually likes to cook)
Even when he’s had a bad day at work and wants to just relax he’ll sit and listen to me talk about my hard day.
Even when he is concerned about money and bills he never shows it.
Even though he might not totally understand what I do for a living he has always supported me in it.
And even after a day of cooking at work and cooking at home he still has the desire to try making homemade biscuits.
He’s my man. My kind of man. And one special man at that.

Ohhhhh yea… I am for sure coming for a visit now dangit. You better tell Adam to watch out… Jen's clan is a coming :). You do have a good man!

HOMEMADE BISCUITS!? I haven't seen one of those since I was about 8 years old… and I'm a grandma!!!! I thought they were extinct!
Actually, your beautiful post reminds me of this recent experience… my mom (she's 83) LOVES strawberry shortcake, so I thought I would surprise her with this dessert at her birthday dinner at my home. I cut the fresh strawberries… and then gathered my ingredients for the biscuits (that I hadn't made in decades), and Audrey and Jane were, like… "What are you doing?" They could not believe that I knew how to make biscuits!!!! They were delicious… but next time I'm sending for your husband's. THEY LOOK BEYOND SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!
And… what a guy!
I love when we (moms, wives, etc) take a moments to apprecaite our husbands!! (I do hope you are talking about your husband! lol)
