I Take Breaks
To do lists half finished, deadlines looming, project planning to do, my thoughts racing with all things business… all interrupted by a small child’s voice pleading to explore the outdoors.
I pause to ponder the request. All of the reasons why I really should stay online dance around in my head until this wee small voice inside me simply said, “There’s a whole world outside this room. Go on, explore it with him.”
As I walked hand in hand with my son snapping shots of nature discussing why God made tree’s I breathed deeply and smiled.
This is why I work from home.

Yup, we are so lucky! It has taken me a couple years to "step away from the computer" but our kids are only little for so long and each day is precious!
