Tick
Need I say more?

(no, not a picture of "my tick"…and my leg isn't that hairy. lol)
We had storms again last night which led to our dogs being frightened. Which ended up with one of them sleeping in bed with me. In the morning after breakfast I changed out of my bed clothes and sure enough there it was….on my leg….
My first reaction was to scream and bat it away, thinking it was a spider. It didn't move. Oh no. Not a tick. Anything but a tick. Sure enough, it was a tick. Luckily it hadn't been in long and it wasn't too deep. I grabbed my tweezers, got in close to his head and gave him a good quick yank….
Success…I got him all…head and all. Oh yuck! Needless to say, no more dogs in the bed! The kids didn't have any and I didn't have anymore so I think we're in the clear for now.
I have to tell you that I was pretty upset to see the tick while I'm pregnant. In the short 12 weeks I've been pregnant I' ve had two nasty viruses and now a tick…I'm hoping that is the end of the possible bad things for me and the baby!
BLECK!

Eeew - hate those things! Found one on my arm the other day after we were out gardening. Thankfully he hadn't attached himself to me yet!
Blah- glad you were able to get him!

There was just something on our local news about how bad the ticks are this season. I've been doing regular checks on the kids and the dog. I'm glad you got it all!

Ah! I hate ticks. I have had them before and thankfully they've all been easily removed. I do hope that the rest of this pregnancy remains uneventful!!
