He’s Not Autistic, But… (A Review)

I’ve seen the book, He's Not Autistic, But… advertised in Mothering — I ran into it in other places as well. It always caught my eye when I saw the ad but for whatever reason I never bought it. That is until I read the review that Tiffany of NatureMoms.com did on the book. One word caught my eye and it was all I needed to purchase the book…yeast.

I’ve been struggling with a systemic yeast infection for many years but only came to realize it last year. Since then I’ve been struggling to become healed from this really yucky health problem.

In the year that I’ve known about this problem of mine I’ve read just about everything there is on the topic. And since had come to realize that my kids also have the problem. So anytime I see anything about yeast it catches my eye and I read it. The rest of the review sounded very intriguing and just what I needed to get my hands on. So right then and there I purchased the book…a few days later it arrived and was read front to back that same day.

In the book she outlines the painful health struggles she and her son both faced for years. (which they are healed of now!) She spoke about the exhausting journey of seeing doctor after doctor and then seeing natural healers after natural healers before she finally found the Master Herbalist that healed her and her son of their main health problem…Aluminum. From that point she then was able to heal herself and her son of the yeast, parasites and so on.

Reading the book and her struggles sounded much like my own journey…expect I do now feel really blessed that it hasn’t taken me as long to figure out (at least some) of my health problems and get on the road to a healing.

I’ve since been in touch with Tenna via email and she is a very generous and kind person who truly cares about others going through the same thing she has. She not only answered all of my questions but she also put me in touch with a resource list that I know will come in quite handy.

I only wish we lived closer so I could become one of her clients. I do feel such blessings from the Lord that he continues to put me in touch with resources and people that are able to help me with my health. And one thing always leads to another thing. I learned about yeast – which led me to her book – which led me to research more about Aluminum – which will likely lead me to another “ah ha” revelation about something else important to my family’s health and well being.

If you are struggling with your children’s health or your own I highly recommend picking up her book. You might just pick up some life changing information in it like I have…

(And by the way, this book is about much more than just yeast. That was only a part of the story. There’s so much more to gain from reading her story…it’s just that the yeast and aluminum parts are what really struck me.)

Isn't it great to find out all this information! I know I was so darn excited about visiting the Holistic dr and finally getting answers of what I knew deep down was wrong with me. I can't wait for my next appointment with him Tuesday.

Kudos to you too for helping your family get through all of this :)
