Am I Ever Going To…
…get my first appointment with the OBGYN? I had to cancel the last time because my family was sick. Today was supposed to be the big day and last minute I get a call from their office stating the doctor was ill and no one else had room.
So now we're scheduled again for next Monday. I'm beginning to feel like I'll never see the doctor. I'll be 11 weeks next Monday and it'll be my first appointment! I was really wanting to see the doctor this week, too. I'd been thinking about it since I had to reschedule.
Oh well….what can you do? Maybe go back to sleep? Nah, the kids will be up soon. Guess I'll get the day started ;–)

Aw- hope the week goes by for you! My doc likes to see you at around 12 weeks, and you should be able to hear the heartbeat well then, too. So exciting!

You know, I got way layed back about the Dr visits on my last two kiddos. I could never remember how far along I was either. I think we get so caught up in the little kiddos at our feet and our hubbies that we don't have time for all those extra details. All that said..it is really nice to get in and see or hear the heart beat…relaxes the soul. Happy pregnancy to you!

OMG! The same thing happened to me when I was pregnant with my 1st son. I had 3 appt's that were all changed/cancelled for some reason. My doc likes to see you around 6-7 weeks… and then again at 12 weeks… so trying to get an appt between 7 weeks and 12 weeks was TOUGH!! I feel your pain girl!!

Mine didn't see me until 12 weeks for the first time. I know how appts. can ease your mind though

Dont you just hate that…Glad your family is doing better…and I hope all is well at that first apt. I did not get my first one till I was 15 weeks with Zachary things kept coming up.

Mine didn't like to see us either until 12 weeks. I guess just different doctors vary. I know the first appointment always had me so nervous wondering if I would get to hear the heart beat!
