It's A Hairy Situation

Oh whatever shall I do with this hair of mine?

It’s grown out from the cute cut I got in the summer of last year. It needs a cut so badly. I’m torn between a simple trim or a fun new style. (see the end of this post for a current picture of my hair…oh, and my two simply adorable boys!)

I can’t decide if I’d rather grow it out and get thick bangs like this picture.

Or cut it off and be a bit more stylish like in this picture. This cut looks more like the one I had last year, but it's longer.

And then what about the color? Leave it as is? Get a dye job? If so, lighter or darker? Highlights or lowlights or no lights?

Decisions, decisions…any input from you fancy ladies out there? lol

I think the new bobs are adorable. You would look great with a long bob! Highlights are cute and I would go with something a little lighter with summer on its way.

WOW you'd look lovely with a glad bag wrapped around your hair but I think the cute lil' bob with some hightlights would really look HOT on you!! It would really go with the warmer weather thats coming and at the rate you are losing weight, if you keep your hair long — you may just tip over (LOL).

I am a fan of longer hair, of course right? I really like the first picture, because as I look at it…. we have to remember or at least I do, that we as moms may not have a lot of time each and every day to fix up our hair and we could throw it up in a cute clip, or a super cute head band or hair tie.

I think some cute blond highlights would look really good too.

I always hate growing out my hair so I vote for the shorter cut. It looks like it's still long enough to resort to a clip if you need to

Cute picture of you and the boys! I think you should go with the second cut and keep your natural color. If you decide to add in color, I would say go with some lighter highlights. Just my "two cents…"

Really liked the style you had previously like the second one here maybe a little longer in front on one side(cute french look), and I also like the hair color on the second pic, but with more highlights would be cute. But honestly I think I like the 1st style even better for you with the bangs. Again close to that base coloring in that 1st pic but with more reddish tones and streaks mixed in. And for me I like some real RED streaks especially near the front or with the bangs.

Well, I do think I'll cut my hair. It's split and damaged so growing it much longer won't really be an option. I'll likely cut it cut all in one length so that I can grow it out. I would really like long hair again, but need to take care of it better now so that it can grow. I doubt I'll dye it right now as that always seems to damage my hair even more.
