Nell, I'm glad to hear your son qualified for the therapy. I very much agree about labels and don't find them necessary unless you need them to specifically get help.

As you know, my eldest has Aspergers but that's just a "name" and we don't let that term define his life. I'm glad to see your handling all of this well and wish you all the best.

I have yet to catch her on anything, I watch almost zero tv, though. But I really want to watch her one time. I have a link to a congressional record where it was reported that mercury causes symptoms in animals like autism and other autoimmune disorders and was lawfully removed from animal vaccines, but not human vaccines. They know it is true, they know it.

I saw she was going to be on the view the other day so I watched it. I was fascinated by what she was talking about. I do not have an autistic kid, but some of the things she mentioned I wanted to look into. The yeast was one of them. I'm glad you mentioned it, my daughter has tons of stomach problems & we have always put it to stress. She actually throws up though & it has been a problem since birth. First was spit up then full fledged puke, yuck! She is about to be 10, so I could never figure out why she was under so much stress. I'm going to look into it more. I think that book sounds like something to read even if autism doesn't effect your life. The foods that are available today are just reaking havoc on our kids & ourselves. People need to take it more seriously.

AMEN!! I am all for Jenny too. As a mother of one autistic child and one with other issues that we can't name yet (since we can't figure out what they are). I'm all for trying to figure out why this happens and how to protect other children from the same thing.

Though I am not dealing with a child with autism, I am glad that there is an advocate such as her. We vaxed our 3 oldest, but the three youngest have had very few. I am in the middle of the road when it comes to vaxes. I do believe some of them are important and others that aren't. My kids came down with the chicken pox and the dr. asked me why we didn't vax them against it. Whatever.
