Jenny McCarthy is Speaking My Mind…and Doing it So Well.
Jenny McCarthy was speaking my mind on Larry King Live last night. I’ve not agreed this much with somebody in a long while. The excitement I felt watching her speak out on vaccines, yeast overgrowth, and autism was almost more than I could handle, because you just don’t see these topics discussed on TV.
She brought up points with vaccines that I’m in total agreement on. The fact that 36 vaccines given to our little babies is entirely too much, that the ingredients are scary and need to be safe and cleaned up, there needs to be a better schedule so they aren’t being crammed down your throat in a two year period, and there should be a test given to each baby before hand to know if their immune system can handle it.
She mentioned that she isn’t against vaccines, but that the way it is now just isn’t safe. I couldn’t agree more. I’m not against the idea of vaccines; however I am against the way things are right now.
I found it really telling that she mentioned (and she said “oh hell no” ) that she would not vaccinate another child should she ever have another baby. That speaks volumes.
Another part of the show that got me jumping out of my skin with excitement was her speaking about Candida and how many of these (autistic) kids have too much yeast in their bodies.
Wow, I was in awe to be honest. I’d not ever heard of this problem before several months ago when I ran into the information online, researched it, and discovered that was my problem. So, needless to say hearing her speak about it on national TV was more than exciting.
Many more people than just Autistic kids have too much yeast in their bodies and I want to make that clear. A yeast overgrowth can affect every part of your health. Too much yeast can cause weak and achy muscles, low body temperature, foggy brain/memory, tiredness, dry mouth, ear infections and vertigo, stomach problems like IBS, and literally sooooo much more. You can learn more about Candida by clicking this link.
Some people might be sick of seeing Jenny on TV talking about these subjects, but I’m certainly not. Every time I see her on a new show I know how many more people she is going to reach with her message …. It literally excites me.
Oh, and she did mention that the next place you’ll probably see her is in front of congress speaking about vaccines!
Go Jenny Go. :–)

that's awesome that she is speaking out on these issues and raising awareness. so many ppl think vaxes are mandatory and it's good for them to know they have choices. and i agree w/ you, the ingredients in vaxes is just shocking.

I didn't get to see her on Oprah, but read the exert on Oprah's site. It's about time we had an advocate for this issue! Our government seems to be so complacent about this it's crazy and scarey. I did however hear of one mom winning a case that her insurance company should pay for her child's autistic services. This is certainly a step in the right direction.
My hubby and I watched Larry King together last night and had to pause it several times to clap or say an AMEN or do a little dance. It WAS exciting because us "little people" FINALLY feel like our voices are being heard. Oh, and the current vaccine schedule is 36 vaccines from birth to 68 months. You can check out http://www.generationrescue.org for a nice chart showing the schedule of 10 vaccines total in 1983 and today's schedule of 36 VACCINES. That's 36 too many in my book.

I am glad that more and more light is coming to town about these things. Some parents go strictly by the books on parenting and think that is the way it's suppose to be done. Of course I don't do that and my old school family thinks I am just crazy
. Oh well let them go ahead and do their own thinking, my hubby and I know what is best for our girls so that means we can make our own choices and not have to listen to books or doctors.
I am hoping with all the recent news more moms will be educated with both sides better and be able to make their own choices as well. I will not look down at anyone for the choices they make, just hoping they do know there is a choice.
With the worry wart in me, I did choose to get some vaccines for my girls. The key word there is some and I did it own my own schedule. But I did my own research and reading to choose what I thought was best.
It's year 2007, we don't have to listen to our Grandma's or Parents hehe

The show was awesome! AND Larry King let them talk…imagine that. I am so happy to see this information getting the attention it deserves.
This is one of the few times that I wish we still had cable or satellite. I would've liked to see it, but I'm glad to know the word is getting out!
When I think back on how little I knew with my first three girls, it just saddens me. I never felt right about Rebecca getting a shot the day she was born (!) and I'll never know if the vaxes contributed to the problems she (and I) went through over the years, I just thank God every day that she's overcome most of it now, and that I learned how to trust my instincts when Ben and Sarah came along.
I hate that Jenny, and so many other families, have had to go through what she has, but it's good that someone's finally speaking out about it. Now hopefully more people will listen and get informed!
Nothing speaks like a mother's passion. I hope many moms catch the fever of advocacy.
She really has been doing an amazing job on her press tour. She has such passion in her voice. I hope her words are resonating with the medical community and mothers alike.

Though I am not dealing with a child with autism, I am glad that there is an advocate such as her. We vaxed our 3 oldest, but the three youngest have had very few. I am in the middle of the road when it comes to vaxes. I do believe some of them are important and others that aren't. My kids came down with the chicken pox and the dr. asked me why we didn't vax them against it. Whatever.
AMEN!! I am all for Jenny too. As a mother of one autistic child and one with other issues that we can't name yet (since we can't figure out what they are). I'm all for trying to figure out why this happens and how to protect other children from the same thing.
I saw she was going to be on the view the other day so I watched it. I was fascinated by what she was talking about. I do not have an autistic kid, but some of the things she mentioned I wanted to look into. The yeast was one of them. I'm glad you mentioned it, my daughter has tons of stomach problems & we have always put it to stress. She actually throws up though & it has been a problem since birth. First was spit up then full fledged puke, yuck! She is about to be 10, so I could never figure out why she was under so much stress. I'm going to look into it more. I think that book sounds like something to read even if autism doesn't effect your life. The foods that are available today are just reaking havoc on our kids & ourselves. People need to take it more seriously.
I have yet to catch her on anything, I watch almost zero tv, though. But I really want to watch her one time. I have a link to a congressional record where it was reported that mercury causes symptoms in animals like autism and other autoimmune disorders and was lawfully removed from animal vaccines, but not human vaccines. They know it is true, they know it.
Nell, I'm glad to hear your son qualified for the therapy. I very much agree about labels and don't find them necessary unless you need them to specifically get help.
As you know, my eldest has Aspergers but that's just a "name" and we don't let that term define his life. I'm glad to see your handling all of this well and wish you all the best.
Thank God for Jenny's huge efforts!!! b.
